Octavia Ephraim is the Founder and CEO of OCTAPEAR Group a Gauteng based Image Consulting Firm specializing in Executive and Entrepreneur Image Management, Personal Development Coaching, and Sought–after speaker on fashion, beauty, Modesty. Clients in a broad range have turned to her for help to polish their upper management, sales teams and client-facing professionals.

Octavia has always cherished the idea of empowering men and women to be the best in all areas of life. She decided to establish the company that will allow her to teach, mentor and coach men and women of all ages.

Octavia has worked for ABSA Trust for six years AND First National Trust for four years in different positions where she had gained vast experience in project management, marketing and sales management, administration management, leadership, coaching and mentoring skills.

While working for ABSA she always had a dream of becoming an entrepreneur. She never looked back which meant that she had to leave her comfort zone and monthly income in order for her to make her dream come true. She was the Administration Estate Manager when she left Absa Trust in 2011.

She has been honoured to share the stage with Jerry Mofokeng, Gwen Mahlangu-Nkabinde,Buhle Mthethwa, Bonnke Shipalana, Nakedi Ribane, Thami Ngubeni,Masego Kunupi,Bokang Montjane,  and Jacqui Maphala, just to name the few.

My grand-mother ; She thought me to pray, to be principled, assertive, tough, resilient, stand up for myself, she taught me to love, to respect others and to forgive. I am mother to my kids; a wife to my husband; sister to my siblings; a blessing to others and I am respected in my family and community because of her!

My mentees: They keep me grounded and empower me to be an AUTHENTIC MENTOR and they inspire me to want to better myself every day. We transform together!

THE AFRICAN WOMAN’S CHALLENGE  
Women face needs that are often overlooked and consequently remain underdeveloped as they seek to lead and guide those in their care .    Through my human trafficking workshops, I empower women and how to fight the push and pull factors of human trafficking.
WHAT I DO TO RELAX:

I love watching comedies (laughing is my therapist), reading and taking a hot bath.

I appreciate such platforms (PAW). Great space to learn from other women and be reminded that so many women lived their lives with invisible burdens and hardships however they pressed on… When we celebrate women we inspire each other to travel the journey and stop using the past as an excuse to live what we called for. We are called to live a life of SIGNIFICANCE!

Find your place and connect with prayer warrior who will carry you to finish your projects from inception to completion. Don’t try to travel the journey alone its LONELY! And always remember to Simplify and unclutter your life. Older women, be there for the younger women, share with them your life experiences, younger women, listen to the wise and be teachable…
