My name is Jenny Chisom Opara. I am a
Nigerian who grew up in a middle class religious family where we are encouraged
to go to school. I studied English and Literary Studies and also have a certificate
in Entrepreneurship Management. My natural giftings have always been in
reading, telling stories and writing while brainstorming viable money making
ideas. These informed my career today. I am a manuscript editor and copywriter
who founded Logos Audibles Enterprises in 2010, then I started blogging and used
my blog to promote my small business effectively. Blogging projects and events
have become my signature label, and I have helped a lot of writers become
authors while helping bloggers start off ethically. I blog about Nigerian CEOs

and creativity and see solutions which I try to share to help other people too.

African women battle low self esteem
as a result of societal limitations in expectations. I do my part by using
Social media and speaking opportunities to encourage men to be role models, and
stop hurting women while supporting women to find themselves.
WHAT I DO TO RELAX
I go window-shopping, chat away on
social media, go for long walks, sleep or visit somebody.

We are African women and the whole
world ‘respects’ us and is waiting to celebrate us. This spotlight we have got,
we must embrace and show-off our essence in order for Africa to see light. We are
Africa’s beacons of hope and we must start our ideas from where we are.
