Arunma Oteh was recently appointed Vice President and Treasurer of the World Bank through a rigorous and highly competitive recruitment drive. Indeed this further lays credence to her brilliance as she was considered aptly qualified, for me this Phenomenal Africa Woman [PAW] is not just beauty with unusual elegance – she is equally brains.
She has a several academic qualifications – she venture where other dread not settling for less and neither going the seemingly easier route as most women are perceived to have journeyed.
She is adorable, her smile infectious and in the world where men seem to dominate – she has risen above board, delectably and determinedly with no iota of mediocrity.
She is an inspiration, worthy of celebration and a beacon of hope thus empowering other women to greater heights- she reflects our ethos hence the award as the Phenomenal African Woman of the Week.
