WHAT FUELS ME?
It would be difficult to
describe myself in a few words but I would say I relate to these words: LOVE,
PASSION, ORIGINAL.
describe myself in a few words but I would say I relate to these words: LOVE,
PASSION, ORIGINAL.
Over the years in my
career I have been driven by the love of the art, the need to share my gift and
empower through my talents and I must say have enjoyed the support of my fans. As
they say, if you love what you do you will never work a day in your life. I’ve
been in the broadcasting game and music industry for over ten years and I’m
learning that passion for what you do it the fundamental tool. My number one
advice for any young woman seeking to transform, influence, educate and be
memorable while at it is to stay true to who you are and what you stand for.
Especially in the music business and broadcasting industry. Whenever I come
across fresh talent, this is what I look for. I believe this our continent
needs and already has. We all just have to be confident about how original we
are.

MY
GREATEST INFLUENCE:
GREATEST INFLUENCE:
I am influenced by many
things; life experiences, the fresh talent I meet, my beautiful family and so
much more. I really cannot single out one. But I will say, Africa has
influenced my musical journey and contributed heavily on the content for the
shows I have created.

IN THE NEXT FIVE YEARS…..
Not to say that I’m limited, but my team and I are planning for
a brand new album (That’s very soon),in collaboration original African artistes
and producers. We also intend to host a series of talent scouting workshops
that will see the discovery of Africa’s next big stars. In 5 years, we plan to
have the biggest talent scouting and training agency on the continent.

THE
AFRICAN WOMAN’S CHALLENGE:
AFRICAN WOMAN’S CHALLENGE:
It’s
sad that African women as little girls are not encouraged to love themselves
for who they are. With the media flooded with images of non African women as
superior, we lack the presence more strong African women in the limelight who
are positive role models. Hard working, classy, intelligent, decent beautiful
African women. In my capacity as a radio/Tv presenter I challenge this notion
and focus on topics and issues that empower our African girls to take pride in
their own image. I tailor my shows based on the positive reflection of our
women. This way we are raising strong African women among us that seek no
validation.

the role of an African woman in society as the backbone, African women should
indeed be celebrated, inspired and empowered for our nations to thrive for
