My name is Oumou Kane
young Mauritanian woman, who co- founded, and president of an organization
called AMAM Multicultural Association for a Better Future, to inspire, motivate
to be a kind of woman that will encourage other women to change the face of African
Women and I want to be their model. I want to bring change to my community.

WHAT FUELS ME?
Respect: No matter who we are
and what we do without mutual respect, Life isn’t meaningful and this really
helped me through the rough times.
Generosity:  Sometimes I feel responsible seeing people in
hard situations and I see myself in a better position always like to help those
who are really in need.
Integrity: I love to discover other
cultures to understand them better and get closer to them this is my force my
stepping stone.
MY GREATEST INFLUENCE:
My Father is my inspiration I cannot do anything
without asking him for advices. He always keep telling me, be honest and do not
be greedy.
MY TOP THREE ROLE
MODELS:
Nelson Mandela:  one of the greatest leader ever, with him he taught
us forgiveness and to be patient.
Obama: he taught me that yes
we can if we believe in our dream. Because of his wonderful programme for
African leadership of which I’m very happy to be a Mandela Washington
Fellowship for young African Leader.
Mother Theresa: always be generous
and close to people who are most in need. These I learnt from her.
IN THE NEXT FIVE
YEARS…..
For the next five year, I want to be part of the
influential women all around the world. I use to exchange with my dad if i have
something to do otherwise my very close cousin.

THE AFRICAN WOMAN’S CHALLENGE:
It’s illiteracy out of poverty. By showing
them their right   because most of them
ignore it and educating them to make them more confident.
WHAT
I DO TO RELAX:
I love listening to music, or I go to the ocean take
some fresh air while listening to the music.
MY   –
I.C.E. [INSPIRE|CELEBRATE|EMPOWER] VISION
Because African Women are the future of Africa, it’s
the women who are doing the hardest work; she is humanity.
MY
AFRICAN UNION PLANS:
I want to have the responsibility of women empowerment
because in Africa there still a lot of women that does not know their right.
FINAL WORDS OF ADVICE:
I just want them to be educated and to believe in
themselves and they can make their dreams come true no matter the obstacles.
