WHAT FUELS ME?
Optimistic -I am very optimistic. I
believe there are several ways of “killing a rat”. I use my
optimistic nature almost every day. I use it even when writing a proposal for
funding for my organization. My dad tells me to be optimistic at all times.
Being optimistic has its ups and downs because optimism may lead to over
confidence or seriousness.

Youthfulness
I am a youth and i enjoy being a youth. Youthfulness is very interesting. You
have this full sense of energy as a youth, a bright future, vision and great
dreams and aspirations. As a lawyer I have so much work to do and if not for
the youthfulness in me, I would definitely not have had the stamina to function
well. I have anchored seminars and workshop for women and youths like me for
the prevention of HIV and drug abuse. I have used myself as a mentor to young people.
Youthfulness has its ups and downs too. People see you as a child and do not
trust the decisions you make.

Humility
I see me as a humble person. I have gone with the help of CARE NGO to the worse
locations especially villages to carry out projects and workshops, I have
eaten, slept and communicated with them first-hand. I have gone to various
villages to carry out projects on prevention of land degradation, alternative
means of livelihood and motivational events for these people. Humility has its
challenges because people tend to take your humility for granted.
